M4 Switzerland has been touched by the Gospel, but a vital need to live and incarnate its message is being currently felt! It is the right time to plant new churches which are fresh expressions of the Kingdom of God. Grateful for all what God has already achieved in our land, we believe that it is of vital necessity to see new fellowships being planted to touch milions of swiss citizens that are still at a distance from the Gospel. No one denomination, alone, could bridge this gap, therefore, we work together with the dynamic swiss Evangelical Alliance. With the logistic help of Campus Crusade for Christ, here are the following denominations that are particularly engaged with us up to this date in french speaking Switzerland : Salvation Army, Federation of Evangelical Churches, Evangelical Apostolic Churches.

We are convicted that Switzerland is ripe for hearing the Gospel of Jesus-Christ. That is why we want to participate to a national church planting movement, within a fruitful collaboration with existing unions of churches, in order to give every swiss citizen the opportunity to hear and see the Gospel incarnated through believers in local churches, filled with the love and grace of God.

He works formerly as a pastor in French-speaking Switzerland in the AESR (former FREE) and Apostolic Churches with which he is still in relationship. Convinced that collaboration between denominations is important, he believes that a special blessing hides behind sharing experiences.

  • The M4 manuels (tomes 1 and 2) are on sale online for FCH 20.- each via shop.campuspourchrist.ch. Everyone involved in the M4 process must read these books.
  • We also have an online learning environment where churchplanters and their teams can watch training videos, do practical exercises and get help from coaches in the churchplanting process.
  • Finally, we have 4 training modules, i.e. Learning Communities, over the course of 2 years. Each gathering focuses on a different topic in the churchplanting process. At the end of each weekend, all teams create an action plan that will guide their church over the next 6 months.

Coaching helps to raise the effectiveness of church planting more than any other aspect. Coaching for M4 Suisse is led by Stefan Fuchser.

What is M4?

M4 is built around the ABC's of church planting: Assessment, Basic Training and Coaching. Assessment is both online and via an in-depth interview, and helps leaders find the right candidates - who then also have a deeper understanding of their gifting. Our basic training provides a rich, interactive learning environment, where planters and their teams produce practical action plans. Coaching then helps teams take their plans from dream to reality. The process lasts 2-3 years. The content in the training platform has been developed from 30 years of church planting experience in the European context, and is formed around four topics: Master, Mission, Multiplication and Movement.

Church planting is a difficult endeavour and very time consuming. Training is on going and needs to be flexible and portable.
